God stands before us with open hands. In one hand is His blessings and in the other is His curses.  The Bible reveals both God and what is in His hands. It gives us all the needed information we need to choose.

 

The problem is not the lack of information but the lack of faith in God. Just like Satan led Adam and Eve to doubt God. He still does the same today. Satan is still asking the question “Did God really say?”

Yes God said,  ""Today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse! You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today. You will receive a curse if you reject the commands of the LORD your God and turn from his way by worshiping foreign gods. (Deut 11:26-28 nlt)

Heb 11:6 says, So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

 

Do you have faith in God? Are you seeking Him and His blessings, or are you doubting Him and receiving His curses?

 "This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you to understand or perform. It is not up in heaven, so distant that you must ask, `Who will go to heaven and bring it down so we can hear and obey it?' It is not beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask, `Who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear and obey it?' The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.

"Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between prosperity and disaster, between life and death. I have commanded you today to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, laws, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and become a great nation, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. But if your heart turns away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods, then I warn you now that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live a long, good life in the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy.

"Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live! Choose to love the Lord your God and to obey him and commit yourself to him, for he is your life. Then you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."

These verses come from Deuteronmy 30:11-20, when Israel was about to claim the promised land, a physical land. The Bible is very clear that there is a spiritual land (an eternal land) called heaven that the physical land of Israel is a type of, or represents. Toady we can claim that spiritual land.

Jesus said I come that you might have life and it more abaundant!

God says ""Today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse!You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today.You will receive a curse if you reject the commands of the LORD your God and turn from his way by worshiping foreign gods. In the book of 2 Timothy, Paul tells Timothy that he had been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood, and they had given him the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. Paul goes on to say that all of Scripture is inspired by God, that it is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives, that it straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right, that it is God's way of preparing us in every way, and that it fully equips us for every good thing God wants us to do. (2 Tim 3:15-17)
